The history of chrome metal dates back to the end of the 18th century, when chrome metal was discovered by Nicolas Louis in 1797-1798 in Paris.
In 1856 Mr. Anton Geuther believed that chromium can be precipitated from chromic acid solution.
In the years 1924 to 1926, Colin G. fink and Charles H. introduced the use of a catalyst to deposit chromium. Therefore, 125 years after the discovery of chrome metal, chrome coating was born.

Hard chrome coating is also divided into three categories depending on its application:
A- HC chrome coating
B- LC chrome coating
C- Pulsed chrome coating
The coating that is used in the industry today is HC coating or high shrinkage.
